Support for Education and Environment

Books by Chance LLC donates a percentage of sales to charity. We are currently focusing on non-profit environmental and educational organizations in the Ann Arbor area.

We also offer our consignment clients the option to supplement our effort with a portion of their earnings. The percentage of the contribution is up to the client.

Our hope is that the collective effort of our clients will generate significant funds for charitable organizations. We believe it is important to support global initiatives, and yet, we are choosing to start locally. Let's do what we can to strengthen Michigan, and go from there.

Currently Books by Chance supports the following organizations:

Huron River Watershed Council

HRWC is a coalition of concerned citizens, government groups, and businesses, working to improve the health of the Huron River Watershed in southeast Michigan.

826Michigan

"826michigan is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. Our services are structured around our belief that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success."

Participating is as easy as writing in the percentage you would like to contribute when you complete a consignment agreement form.
